What is an INI file?

3. Navigate to the following key in the Registry Editor: HKEYLOCALMACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
4. In the right pane of the Registry Editor, you will see a list of subkeys. Find the subkey that corresponds to the INI file you want to open.
5. Right-click on the subkey and select “Export.”
6. In the Export Registry File dialog box, select a location to save the INI file.
7. Click the “Save” button.

The Registry Editor will export the INI file to the specified location. You can then open the INI file in a text editor to view and edit its contents.
