Cryptoon Goonz is a collection of 7,777 generative, non-fungible token (NFT) profile pictures designed by renowned artist Von Dutch. Each Cryptoon Goonz is algorithmically generated with a unique combination of over 140 visual traits, resulting in a highly diverse set of characters. These NFTs are part of the larger Cryptoon universe, which also includes the Mutant Goonz collection and the upcoming Sewer Goonz game.

The term “Cryptoon” is a portmanteau of “crypto” (referring to cryptocurrency) and “Goon” (a slang term for a Member of a gang or group). Cryptoon Goonz represents a Fusion of Digital art, collectibles, and Blockchain technology. The first collection of Cryptoon Goonz launched in May 2021 and quickly sold out, generating significant revenue. The success of the initial launch led to the development of additional collections and the expansion of the Cryptoon universe. In 2022, the Mutant Goonz collection was introduced, featuring altered versions of the original Goonz NFTs.
