The Frequency of the sound produced by a speaker is determined by the frequency of the electrical signal that is input to the speaker. The amplitude of the sound is determined by the amplitude of the electrical signal. Speakers can BE designed to produce a wide range of frequencies, from low bass notes to high treble notes.
